I would like to see a button for tracking solid foods (what type, how much, reaction (liked, didn't like, allergic, etc.))...and have the ability to chart it and have it appear in the stats.

Oh goodness! What a fantastic idea! We're just starting solids now, so we're going to use the Journal option for this in the meantime. But it would be fabulous to have a solids category in addition to bottles!
I'm a long way from this, I have three weeks before my due date... but I can CLEARLY see this being a great addition to this awesome app!
I hadn't thought of this (or needed it) yet, but it's definitely a great idea!
Would be great!
This is a great idea!
Wonderful Idea!
Ethan is now 6 months and weaning. I am tracking this using 'other' but it would be great if there was a weaning feature on the app. There is an app available called 'baby food diary' which is specifically for weaning. It may be worth having a look to see if it can be incorporate it into baby esp.

Yes yes yes! Would be fab, currently, I'm recording it under "other".
I think Jannell nailed it - do it like the medicine category (which should be easy since you already have that coded), with presets for the basics (the different cereals, for example) plus allow other foods to be added by the user. And instead of ml dosages, you could have ounces eaten. I LOVE this idea! :)
I personally think the reaction (like/dislike, as well as any allergic reactions) and temp can just go in notes for each entry.
Please do!
Please do!
Love the idea! This would be great to help me track my twin girls!
I would love this idea also!
Please add, a great idea.
I would like to option to integrate a feeding button with the bottle button so I can know when was the last time the baby had something in his tummy.
I would love this addition too! Right now I am just using an "activity" I made and downloaded a gerber baby picture for the icon. :)
It would be nice to also track what mommy ate when she is breastfeedng. My son has more spit up more some days than others. It would be nice to know what I am eating that is causing it.
Wow, if that is updated this application will need to be rated as 6 stars. Im really really happy with the options we have now, but that will be absolutely faboulous. Thanks
please, oh please add the solid food choice/feature!!
I was really surprised when I started solids (today) with my baby and this wasn't already a feature. I am using "Other" to track it but am already lamenting the fact that I won't be able to track trends the way I can with bottle feeding.
Can you Please, Please, Please add this to your program! This would really help us out! Thank you!!!!
I've just emailed about this as well, it would be a great addition.
Great idea, thought of it, too :-)! We are using "others" to note it! Would be a fantastic addition to bottles! Babies grow up and turn to solid food so you MUST add this, please!!!! :-)))
Fab idea, much like the others here, i'm recording it under the 'other' tab & then using the journal..
We are just starting to work on a solids tracker, most likely it will be in a 1.7 release.
We are still working on what exactly what features we'll add for tracking solids and what information can go in a general notes field.
One idea I have that would be neat but perhaps overkill would be to allow barcode scanning of baby food UPC labels to quickly record a new type of food. What do you all think, would you use that?
I agree. We make 99% of our baby food, so the barcode scanner wouldn't be a big deal for us. If you want to add it, sounds great, but don't delay the release for it. I'm very much looking forward to this update. Thank you!
I agree that a barcode scanner would be a great addition (and I would absolutely use it) but honestly I would rather have the core functionality sooner and wait for the bar code scanner later. I really miss being able to trend solid foods the way I can trend bottle feeding.
would be a great feature should totally add it
yes it is it needs to be added soon
